Tuition & Lodging

VICTOR WOOTEN'S BASS/NATURE CAMP is run totally on tuition money. Much thought, care and consideration was put into coming up with these prices in order to keep this event at the lowest prices possible. Many of the instructors and helpers are donating their time and knowledge. Essentially what we are saying is that this camp is not being run to make a monetary profit. It is being run for YOU!

The tuition fee of $650 includes 6 days of instruction, 15 meals, free sleeping quarters... and a whole lot of fun!. Upon notification of acceptance each student will receive a list of things to bring and will be required to mail in a deposit of $350. The deposit confirms your space at the camp and is non-refundable. The balance will be due the first day of camp. Parents or guardians who join us for meals are asked to pay $150.

DEADLINE INFORMATION

Applicants will be notified of acceptance. A non-refundable deposits of $350 from accepted applicants must be mailed upon notification of acceptance, deposits should be mailed to: Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature Camp PO Box 210703 Nashville, TN 37221 Account balance are due at registration on the first day of camp.

LODGING

Because the outdoors is such a big part of the essence of this camp, the outdoors is where we strongly recommend that you sleep. There will be plenty of space to set up tents. There are also free cabins that are essentially primitive shelters with 4 beds each and a bathhouse nearby.

For parents or guardians that would rather not deal with outdoor sleeping, there is a Park hotel and an RV site. You can make arrangements by calling 615-797-9052. The Deerfield Inn in Fairview is also nearby, their number is 615-799-4701; or the Comfort Inn in Dickson is at 615- 446-2423.

YOU WILL NEED A CAR if you choose to stay at any of the hotels or the RV site.

If you plan to come into Nashville before the day of camp or leave after the last day, here are some hotels in Nashville with free airport shuttle service (so you can take their shuttle back to the airport to meet our shuttle, and never have to pay for a taxi!):
